Vietnam must

From Hanoi, through Ninh Binh, the embroidery province and the Ha Giang Loop

About this trip

Vietnam always delivers with its mix of vibes — the contrast between Hanoi's wild traffic and the unexpected peace of Ninh Binh, where time slows down and a traditional boat glides silently between limestone mountains and endless rice paddies.

Vietnam means getting lost for three days on the Ha Giang Loop, crossing impossible mountain passes and villages where life beats to a different rhythm. It means waking up in Sapa surrounded by mist and green terraces, sharing a home-cooked dinner at a homestay and understanding that travel is also about connecting.

This trip is designed for those who want more than pretty landscapes. Here we hike, sail, live alongside local communities and let ourselves be moved by an intense, resilient and deeply human culture.

Over 14 days we'll explore northern Vietnam combining adventure, stunning nature and moments of calm that nourish the soul. You're not just coming to discover Vietnam. You're coming to feel it.

First Contact with Vietnam: Welcome to Hanoi - Día 1

We land in Hanoi and from the very first moment, we start feeling how far from home we are. The Awayna team is waiting at the airport to get us organized, introduce ourselves and head to the accommodation. Once settled and freshened up, we head out for our first stroll through the city. Lively streets, motorbikes weaving through traffic, intense street food aromas and energy like nothing you've experienced before. We end the day with our first group dinner, breaking the ice and starting to build what will be a powerful shared experience.
